What is the Re-Rate (RR) Score and how is it calculated?

The Re-Rate Score is a single 1.0–5.0 number per junior miner that estimates whether you can buy now, capture a near-term catalyst-driven re-rate, and have the risk/reward make sense for the time you're exposed — anchored to the highest-impact milestone inside a roughly 11-month forward window.

It is computed from five weighted components — risk-adjusted upside, catalyst impact, timing urgency, quality-time exposure, and a 52-week-discount bonus — not from a price target alone; the target is one input, never the whole score.

The "governing catalyst" is the highest-impact milestone in the forward window, not necessarily the next one chronologically — a permit or construction decision can govern over a nearer, smaller event.

It is re-derived every monthly refresh (no carried-forward values), so the score moves as the catalyst clock advances and the inputs update — a name can re-rate up or down on timing alone.

Worked example

  • WDO.TOa steady-state producer carrying a public Re-Rate Score of 4.7 — a high 9-Factor (77.0) and low jurisdiction risk feed the read; the live page has the full breakdown.
